Railway
Our Ferques site has had a private rail spur since 1976. A new state-of-the-art rail terminal was commissioned in 2020, with a capacity of 4 million tons, with the aim of reducing our CO2 emissions by avoiding the use of road transport.
In 2022, Carrières du Boulonnais received the "best environmental practices" award from the National Union of Aggregate Producers (UNPG) for this achievement.
As France's leading rail transport operator for aggregates, handling 26% of the country's rail freight in this sector, we ship aggregates and riprap to the Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France, and Normandy regions. Our four logistics platforms in Limay (78), Mitry-Mory (77), Rieux (60), and Émerainville (77) in the Île-de-France region, which are connected to the rail network, are supplied from our quarry in Ferques.
River
With access to three river ports in Hauts-de-France (Coulogne 62, Arques 62, Spycker 59), we serve Hauts-de-France and the Paris region.
Our platform in Limay (78) has direct access to waterways to ensure deliveries in the Ile-de-France region and Normandy.
Its rail junction allows for direct rail-to-river transshipment. Any type of boat can be loaded without the need for trucks.
Maritime
Maritime transport is provided from French ports (Calais, Boulogne, Dunkirk, St Malo, etc.) or European ports (Spain, Belgium, etc.) located near our quarries and production sites.
Other ports may be considered depending on your project.
We rely on our strong network of logistics partners to study all your projects.
Road
Road transport is provided from all our sites and/or as part of a multimodal solution combined with rail, river, or sea transport.
We offer road transport solutions tailored to the needs of your construction site:
- Bulk goods: in standard dump trucks, rock dump trucks, special construction dump trucks, semi-trailer dump trucks, 8×4 trucks, 6×4 trucks, 4×2 trucks, etc.
- Dual flow: delivery to your site with the option of removing inert waste.
We operate with a network of local partners, close to our production sites and distribution platforms.
The big bag, the practical solution for your construction sites
Our aggregates are also sold in big bags at our Hauts-de-France and Rhône-Alpes branches.
