EOLE PROJECT – Mantes la Jolie railway viaduct (78) 

A strategic part of the EOLE project, the Mantes-la-Jolie railway viaduct plays a key role in improving rail traffic in the Île-de-France region. It is located at the heart ofthe Mantes triangle

Designed to allow trains from Normandy to pass through to Paris ahead of Mantes-la-Jolie, this structure also guarantees futureRER E serviceto Mantes without interference between traffic flows. Thanks to this infrastructure, more trains will be able to run in both directions, significantly improving the fluidity and reliability of the rail network. 

Carrières du Boulonnaiscontributed to this large-scale project, helping to improve the daily lives of residents in the Paris region by making travel smoother and more environmentally friendly. 
A total of50,000 tons of SNCF-approved aggregates from ourFerques site(62) were supplied for the earthworks carried out by our customersRAZELBEC, Bouygues, and Spie Batignolles

The delivery of materials from ourmultimodal platform in Limay (78), supplied byrail from Ferques, is a concrete example of our commitment to high-performance logistics solutions with low environmental impact.

Protecting the coastline, safeguarding the future: coastal defense at Hengistbury Head.

Located on the south coast of England, betweenBournemouth and Christchurch bays, the natural site ofHengistbury Headis subject to severe coastal erosion. Protecting this wild headland is a major challenge for the preservation of the coastline and local biodiversity. 

CB Groupaggregates, in partnership with theSOCAL quarryin Lanhélin (Brittany), suppliedgranite riprapto reinforce the coastline and ensure its durability against the forces of the sea. 

Granite riprap, shipped from theport of Saint-Maloto our clientKML, was then precisely installed byBoskalis to provide long-term protection for the coastline.
This project illustrates our ability to mobilize high-performance technical solutions for large-scale international environmental projects. 

We are proud to have taken on this challenge and thus contributed to the preservation of this exceptional site and the species that live there.

EXTENSION OF THE FRANCILIENNE – East Roissy bypass

The eastern bypass around Roissy via the Francilienne motorway is a key development for improving traffic flow in the Île-de-France region and promoting mobility.

Over atwo-year period,100,000 tons of sand and gravelwere delivered to theEUROVIA MPRO asphalt plant in Mitry Mory (77)

All shipments were transported via100% carbon-free rail logisticsfrom ourFerques rail terminal, demonstrating our commitment to low-impact, sustainable transport solutions for the future.

100% recycled concrete aggregate: a high-performance solution for roads and housing developments 

As part of roadworks for future housing developments,Carrières du Boulonnaissupplied TERSEN with 100% recycledconcrete aggregate, fully in line with a circular economy approach. 

Produced at ourMitry-Mory site, located in close proximity to construction sites, this solutionsignificantly reduces CO₂ emissions associated with transportation, while ensuring technical performance that meets the requirements of road construction projects. 

This partnership illustrates our shared commitment toresponsible resource management, thepromotion of recycled materials, andreducing the environmental impact ofurban development, in order to create more sustainable communities.

EMBARCADERE, Boulogne-sur-Mer (62) 

Opened in 2024,L'Embarcadère, the new convention center in the city of Boulogne-sur-Mer, has established itself as an iconic cultural and event venue in the region. 

To build this structure,Flandres Bétonrelied on local resources fromCarrières du Boulonnais, usingsand and gravelfrom theFerques sitetomanufacture the concrete.

VIARHONA cycle route in Motz (73) 

The ViaRhôna cycle route, a cycling route between Lake Geneva and the Mediterranean, is a major greenway project promoting sustainable mobility and the region's appeal. 

For the construction of the section connecting Seyssel to Motz (Haute-Savoie), TERELIAN chose materials from ourCarrières Blancsitein Hauteville(01). The work requiredrockfillandbackfill materialsfor the construction of the retaining embankment, as well asuntreated gravelfor earthworks, totaling 8,000 tons of materials.

LYON-TURIN Railway Project

Carrières Blanc is participating in this adventure as a supplier of aggregates for the manufacture of voussoirs by the Epierre factory in Maurienne. By the end of 2025, 20,000 tons of materials had already been delivered, making a concrete contribution to the construction of this major infrastructure for the mobility of tomorrow. 

Our production, quality control, and logistics teams work in perfect coordination on a daily basis to support the ramp-up in delivery rates and meet project requirements.

The VERKOR Gigafactory in the Dunkirk area 

Carrière du Boulonnaiswas one of the main suppliers for the construction of the platform for the future Verkor Gigafactory located in the municipality of Bourbourg (62). Our client EPV entrusted us with the earthworks, using 50,000 tons of our untreated gravel.

Expansion of the Port of Calais: a major contribution from Carrières du Boulonnais 

As part of the expansion of the port of Calais, one of France's largest port projects,Carrières du Boulonnaiscontributed to the construction of marine structures by supplying limestone materials. 

Oversix years of work, the company suppliedmore than 2 million tons of materials, including riprap for the construction of the 3 km seawall, as well as sand, gravel for concrete, and untreated gravel. 

The scale of the project requiredrigorous industrial and logistical organization, capable of ensuring acontinuous and reliable supplythroughout the construction period. 

Thanks to the quality of its materials and its expertise in the production of limestone materials,Carrières du Boulonnaiswas ableto meet the high technical requirementsof a complex maritime construction project designed to ensure the durability and safety of the port of Calais in the face of maritime and climatic challenges.

Industry leaders UNIBÉTON, BSM, and EIFFAGEtrust us for the consistent quality of our materials, which are essential for manufacturing thehigh-performance concreteused in these highly demanding engineering structures. 

Thanks to our optimized industrial and logistical organization, more than2 million tons of sand and gravelhave already been delivered to their concrete plants, both fixed and mobile.
Our supplies come from our multimodal platform inMitry-Mory, which is supplied by train: a solution that combinesreliable volumes,control over delivery times, anda significant reduction in our carbon footprint

Deliveries for Line 15 are continuing at asteady pace, demonstrating our ability to support our customers on large-scale projects with high-performance materials and perfectly secure flows.
